Shaun joins Ace and Jesse to talk Knicks basketball. It’s great. We are loving the Knicks. Jalen Brunson is a superhero. Isaiah Hartenstein put up a historic night in Sacramento. OG Anunoby is back and transformative. In a fandom defined by failure, how do we stay positive? And who are we most negative about, because Knicks fans are, after all, world class haters? Is it the Hawks, the Heat, or even Indiana? One thing’s for sure: the Knicks sweep em with a broom, cause our season don’t end til the middle of June.
On episode 8 of Hoops From Casual Diehard, we talked mostly about the Knicks with our guest Shaun, but also took a moment to appreciate the unique effort of Draymond Green, who posted a never-before-seen line of 6 points, 12 rebounds 13 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block on Saturday against the Lakers, helping Golden State overcome LeBron James’ also-unprecedented 40-8-9-1-1 line.

Jason Kidd, with 28 Draymond-doubles, achieved the feat in 1.81% of his NBA tilts. Also, we’re not going to name anything after Jason Kidd, the convicted domestic abuser. People seem to forget that. Like the people who keep hiring him for jobs. That’s a podcast for another day.
Green has the only two Draymond-doubles in the NBA this season, which also matches Wilt Chamberlain’s career total of Draymond-doubles. After the namesake, the active leader in Draymond-doubles is Nikola Jokić, with six. Here’s the all-time list:
